This recently renovated historic cottage is located in a rural coastal setting on the outskirts of Dunedin. The design focused on the integration of low impact design interventions to maintain a strong rural aesthetic. Plant material selection and planting style combine with a limited palette of simple bold hard landscape materials - timber, gravel and Bluestone - to integrate the site, reflecting both the age of the cottage and its rural setting.
